Medical Campaign

I participated in an international medical campaign in Costa Rica through LeadAbroad, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide healthcare services to underserved communities. My responsibilities included assisting with patient intake, taking vital signs, helping with basic examinations, and supporting patient education on hygiene and preventive care. Through this experience, I gained hands-on clinical skills while learning to adapt to a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. Collaborating with local healthcare providers and volunteers deepened my understanding of cross-cultural medicine and the importance of accessible healthcare. Contributing to the well-being of these communities was highly rewarding, as I was able to make a tangible impact on patients’ health and daily lives.
